How to Play Three Man Dice Game Rules

  1. Set Up for 3 Man Dice Game

    1. Gather players in a circle with drinks within reach.

    2. Place two dice in the center of the table.

    3. Determine the first “Three Man” — usually the first player to roll a 3.

    4. Clarify which rules you’re using (classic triggers or house variations).

  2. Rule Dice

    • If a 3 is rolled (on either die), the Three Man drinks.

    • If a player rolls double 1s (snake eyes), they give out two drinks to any other player.

    • A total of 7: player points to someone who must drink.

    • A total of 11: the roller chooses a player to drink twice.

    • Rolling doubles: give drinks and roll again.

  3. Game Play

    • Players take turns rolling both dice clockwise around the circle.
      • If a player does not roll any of the rule dice values (3, snake eyes, total of 7, total of 11, or doubles) nothing happens. The player simply passes the dice to the next person.
      • If the player rolls any of the rule dice, they must follow the rule.
    • Game continues until players decide to stop or change up the rules.
